our story

a simple obsession the perfect cookie experience

What started as countless hours refining recipes, testing ingredients and chasing the perfect texture — for family, for colleagues, for friends — slowly became something bigger. Today, every brune creation is made with the same attention and passion that inspired the very first batch.

designed to be desired

We don't simply sell cookies. Through curated events and intentionally limited batches, we create moments people remember — and look forward to.

Camille, founder of brune
meet the founder
“I stopped waiting for the right moment.”

I'm Camille, 26, and I've been passionate about pâtisserie for as long as I can remember. Living in Paris for some time, I discovered New York–style cookies — and promised myself that one day I'd open my own cookiserie.

Back home in Mauritius, I stopped waiting. I created Brune Cookies — markets, events, private orders. In one year, you enjoyed more than 3,000 cookies. But I wanted to go further: that fresh-from-the-oven feeling, whenever you crave it. No waste, no compromise, no waiting for the next market.

That's how Brune Bakehouse was born. A melting cookie in eleven minutes — because sometimes, indulgence can't wait.
